HOW DO I DELETE MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT WITH KUBIZ?
Kubiz collects and stores personal data of its customers on servers located in India and processes such data strictly in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA), RBI KYC regulations, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
As required under the PMLA and RBI regulations, Kubiz must retain customer identification data and transaction records for at least five (5) years from the date of transaction or from the end of the business relationship, whichever is later. Therefore, Kubiz may not immediately delete personal data or account records upon request where such retention is mandated by law.
You may request account deactivation or restriction of access provided that you do not have any active or outstanding loans, obligations, disputes, or legal proceedings with Kubiz. You may also withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data in accordance with applicable law. Upon withdrawal of consent, Kubiz will cease further processing of personal data except where continued processing or retention is required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
Personal data will be securely deleted or irreversibly erased once all applicable business, legal, and regulatory retention requirements have been fulfilled.
